Setting the scene

Storytelling is a powerful tool that I like to use for inspiring people, for setting the scene, to give orientation and to stimulate reflection. Stories often focus on:

  • Leadership and how to cope with change
  • Developing and implementing strategies
  • Leadership styles
  • Company culture and it’s functionality in specific settings
  • Self-belief in challenging circumstances

just to name a few. I also help individuals and teams to create their own story and the story of their future. As you see, storytelling can be utilized in many contexts.

Aside from this, storytelling can be used as a keynote for setting the tone in an event. Places to which I have personally travelled provide an impressive illustration and highlight a topic. Personalities give inspiration for one’s own coping strategies.
